Regular selfstriping sockyarn, orignin unknown but guess OnLine. Cast on 56 stitches and knit with short row heel.
I am thinking about knitting up two or four more pairs now for the plunge and then move on to other things like shawls and scarfs.
But it is hard to resist knitting socks when you have a stash full of wonderful yarn that you want to know how looks knitted up :-)
